Comment: Everyone arrived alive and they have settled in to their new home. The Corys color came in within a couple hours. The shrimp were zipping around like nuts as soon as they were added. Once my plants come in a little better, I’ll be back for some ember tetras. :) Thank you!

Comment: I ordered 3 starlight bristlenose plecos. 1 out of 3 of them seemed smaller than advertised, he also didnt want to eat and didnt come out. Sadly the smallest one died about 3 days after receiving them. With all that being said stuff happens and dansfish took care of me and I am not disappointed. It means a lot to me when a company does its best to make things right with the customer. With all that said the other 2 are very healthy and growing. Thank you dansfish!

Comment: Ordered 10 raccoon tetras, 10 lemon tetras and 6 bronze corys. Delivered at 1130. Temp acclimated, lights off and let them go. Next day all went nuts when fed. I live in EastTx. Our PH is 8 which matches Dan's. A couple of the raccoon tetras are already sparring and flashing red so I assume they're males Couldn't be happier

Comment: As always, Dan’s Fish delivered an excellent experience. I ordered a pair of guppies and a group of medaka rice fish, and despite a one-day delay caused by UPS, all of the fish arrived healthy, active, and in great condition. After acclimating them to their new outdoor pond for the summer, they settled in quickly and have been thriving ever since. I’m very impressed with the quality of the fish and the care taken in shipping, and I would gladly order from Dan’s Fish again.

Comment: First time shopping with Dan's Fish. Ordered the fish and on the day of the scheduled arrival I got an email generated from Dan's Fish saying the fish had been delivered. I rushed home from work since it was 95 degrees outside. When I got home 30 minutes later- No fish. They had not been delivered by UPS!!. Why Does Dan's send out email saying they were delivered and they weren't? For whatever reason UPS was delayed and the fish finally arrived safely 5 hours later, after 4pm the same day. Since the package was sent UPS Overnight Air, UPS offers a Money Back guarantee that the shipment will arrive by 12pm or you get a full refund. I reached out to Dan's for a shipping refund since they are entitled for a FULL refund from UPS. Only the Shipper can submit for the refund. They said they don't issue shipping refunds so I guess Dan's is keeping the $$$ from the UPS refunded fees? The fish seem to be doing well but really annoyed about the poor incorrect communication and double dipping on the shipping by not refunding.

Seller Reply: Having to rush back from work only to find the fish were not delivered sounds like the worst! We send the delivery notification out when UPS scans the order for delivery. In this case, it looks like UPS scanned it and then did not deliver it for a few hours. I'm not sure why that happened, but I totally understand why that would be annoying. Luckily, UPS almost never does that...I'm sorry it happened in this case.

Comment: Amazed at the excellent condition of the fish when I opened the box. Once in my tank, they were active and showing natural behaviors, if a bit on the nervous side which is to be expected. The fish were meticulously packaged with each fish in individual double layer packets. I would definitely buy more fish from Dan's Fish in the future. Great experience.

Comment: UPS delayed the shipment by 24 hours due to weather, but everything arrived alive and healthy with zero losses. The amano , neo, and bamboo shrimp are all doing great and acclimated well. The breeding group of Full Green Guppies also arrived in excellent condition. They are active, healthy, and they immediately started dropping fry. But the males aren't quite as green as I expected, they have a blue Moscow guppy look, but if the light hits them right then you get a bit of green. They are still absolutely beautiful fish with fantastic coloration. This is my third order from Dan's fish, and they have never disappointed. Every order has arrived healthy, well-packed, and exactly as described. Shout out to the customer service team for their prompt responses!

Comment: Torn between giving a three for the yellow king cobra guppy pair and a five for the rest of my order. This is the second time ordering a guppy pair, for the male clearly being sick and dying within days, the female is fat and sassy though and will have babies soon. A previous order of a blue ivory guppy pair had the a similar weak male issue, but again the female was fine and now have plenty of fry. Everything else is great though, and still recommend Dan's for good livebearers

Comment: My experience with Dan’s Fish is excellent. It was quite warm here the day the fish arrived and the UPS didn’t show up until 3.15. I was rather worried but they were all alive and well packaged in their individual bags. I acclimated to my tank for about an hour and a half and they are doing wonderfully, including the shrimp. They seem quite healthy and happy. Looking forward to my next order.

Comment: Received my first order of fish today. All fish looked great, and are now getting used to their new home. Can’t wait for this group to settle, as there are a few more fish I plan on adding. I am so pleased to say that even after a flight, the fish are all looking colorful and bright. Can’t say the same for fish I’ve purchased locally. On a side note, my son is planning on moving out, and expects that the apartment he will get is going to be too small for his large(r) tank. A true shame for him, and bonus for me. Yes, he already indicated the tank was available and is currently very lightly stocked.

Comment: After 2 straight doa nerite snails from another company. (They were lethargic and sick and died 3 days later)decided to give Dan's fish a try. Boy am i glad I did. Really impressed with my order, both snails arrived so healthy. Packaging was superb! I'm glad I found a place that really cares about their animals. They are already exploring their tank just a few hours after putting them in the tank. If your trying to decide weather to spend the few extra bucks I can say it's definitely worth it. Save yourself the extra unnecessary heartache and stress on the livestock and shop from a place that truly cares! A big thanks to Dan's fish and its staff.

Comment: All fish doing great, a month later. The original shipment got delayed by a day due to UPS shipping delay. Fish made it fine, each shipped in individual bags, really helped them on the journey. Dwarf rainbowfish had great coloration, and one of the males started flashing within a day or two. Comment: I am simply beside myself at the impeccable packing of the animals!!!! Each Rummy Nose was packed in its own bag, with oxygen. I ordered 12, and they are all healthy and beautiful! I just finished acclimating and introduced them to my 90-Gallon, and they are doing beautifully. I have ordered from a number of different aquatic companies online. All I can say is I will never order from any other business than Dan's Fish!!! They really do care deeply about the transport and successful homing of the animals they sell!!!!

Comment: My 10 Celestial Pearl Danios arrived safe and healthy and are now happily swimming around my 45-gallon planted aquarium. Their blue-gray bodies are covered with beautiful pearl-like spots, and their bright orange-red fins make them absolutely stunning. They were a fantastic choice for my community tank, as they get along great with my other fish, including shrimp.

Comment: My experience with Dans fish has been fantastic. I was excited to find they had these rummy nose rasboras in stock bc I really wanted them from a source I could trust. Their costumer service was great leading up and the fish arrived packaged in their individual little condo-baggies which really helped with observing and releasing with care. Everyone was alive, but had someone not made it, it would have been so much easier to deal with it. Also, I was nervous about the transit bc I live on the other side of the country, and UPS didn’t deliver them as early in the day as I would have liked, but they arrived safely, looked healthy, and a day later everyone is swimming around happily and already showing color, even though they are in a bare tank! Thank you!
