Comment: Really excellent communication. Fish arrived beautifully packaged in their separate water packs. Packed tightly and kept insulated. Very minimal stress behavior they look super healthy and once acclimated settled really easily. I like that the cories were not sub adults but also not teeny the way they are sold near me because they tend to be weak and be prone to failure to thrive. Super impressed, will recommend and buy again. Thank you!

Comment: I have ordered from Dan a few times before and he truly doesn't disappoint. All of my fish and shrimp arrived alive and well. They have all adjusted to their respective tanks and no losses after 24 hours. The fish are already colored up and the shrimp are grazing. My only complaint is that some of the blue shrimp were basically white. We shall see how they breed once the colony gets going. Thanks Dan for what you do and you are totally amazing!

Comment: Pleasantly surprised by the results of ordering fish online. Local retail options have become pretty limited (quality and species) and Dan's seemed to have both. Tracking the delivery was important to me as well and Dan's sent a delivery confirmation moments after I grabbed the box from UPS. Comment: I don't typically write reviews, but this company definitely deserves one! The week before delivery they reached out to let me know the fish I ordered needed to be treated. They gave me the option of pushing back the shipping date or canceling. They were transparent and I think it says a lot about their integrity to be willing to possibly loose a sale instead of sending me a fish that could be ill. I opted to wait for the treatment to be finished and ship once they recovered....and boy am I glad I did. They arrived in absolutely stunning condition, healthy, active, and immediately starting acting like they'd lived here forever. Thank you, Dans fish, for taking pride in the livestock you sell and caring about their welfare. Will definitely be buying from you from now on!

It has now been almost 3 weeks since delivery and all continue to thrive. A special note on the Cardinal Tetras, when I buy at local aquarium shops I have to pick and choose and try to get a few healthy ones, even then I always lose some in the first few days. I expected better from the Cardinals I purchased in this order and my expectations were met 110%! All looked fantastic right out of the bag and immediately joined up with my existing shoal, no losses and no illness. They have also grown noticeably and it is almost impossible to tell the new ones from my existing fish. Overall this was an excellent experience and I will be back!

I've had my last batch for over a year with no losses and this last time I bought 7 cardinal tetras. They all are still healthy and alive more then a month later. Comment: Our fish arrived safe and happy and warm today. Everyone in their own little bag. The heat pack was gently warm and water in the bags was 72 degrees. The fish were in good condition. After acclimating them I released them into my cycled, planted tank and they colored up right away. The 7 Corydoras are busy doing their pack wiggle while exploring the aquarium and the Bolivian ram is checking in on them with interest in between his own exploration. All the fish are plump, healthy, and lively. We are very happy with our purchase.

Comment: Out of 4 Reticulated Hillstream Loach only one survived after 2 days. One was DOA and 2 died the next day. I blame UPS not Dansfish. The shipping box was HOT upon arrival. Dansfish was responsive and compensated me for the DOA and the shipping portion. I keep hundreds of fish and have ordered from Dansfish before and will continue and believe they are a 5 star company. I have had problems with UPS previously and will only accept delivery from FedEx in the future. I support Dan’s Fish and locally owned fish stores.
