Seller Reply: Glad to hear they arrived in good shape. And THANKS for letting us know the temps on arrival. That's very helpful as we calibrate heat pack usage in the changing weather. 63 F is a bit colder than we were going for, but those Neocaridina shrimp can live under ice, so I'm sure they will be just fine.   • Comment: I ordered 8 pairs of guppies, 4 different strains. They arrived about 2 weeks ago now. All fish arrived alive and happy! Acclimated well and look AMAZING! I did however have one of the groups (2 pairs blue metal dragon) die off one at a time over the next few days. No idea what happened. Every other fish is doing great and thriving in the same conditions and 2 of the groups dropped fry already.

  • Comment: To Dan's fish team, All 10 Macmasteri and 4 Viejita arrived healthy and beautiful yesterday. After slowly acclimated the fish, 4 hours later all fish are up swimming around. Packaging were amazing, fish were packed individually in a well small double bags and no leakage on all 14 bags. One of the big male viejita about 2in arrive with damage upper dorsal fin, something eating it down about 1/4 from front to the back. Will update another review in a few weeks on how fish are doing, eating,....ect. I added another star because there was misundersta nding on a minor issue. I emailed Dan about it and Dan resolved that issue right away. Thank you Dan for a great customer. Review update after 6 weeks. 10 wild Macmasteri now are almost double the size. I'm taking 2* away for picking pair. I bought 10 wild Macmasteri I ended up with 2 males and 8 females, I was hoping to get at least 3-4 males.

  • Comment: Fish were packaged well. I love that the fish are placed in individual bags. They also sent me an extra fish, which I appreciated, so thanks Dan's Fish for that! However the heat pack was totally cold and the fish water was quite cold as well. Luckily the fish were active and healthy, but I think they need to add another heat pack or one that lasts a bit longer. Overall though, I am happy with my purchase.

  • Comment: I ordered Green Snakeskin guppies and Koi Snakeskin guppies on Nov 5th, they were shipped on the 8th and all of them arrived safely on the 9th with a warm heat pack. The morning of the 10th, the Kois already had about a dozen fry swimming around in their quarantine tank (I'm sure there would have been even more if I had put additional hiding spots in). Overall, I am very pleased with my order, and I've added several other guppy strains to my wishlist for the future. :)

Two out of five white clouds were DOA but Dans refunded me within an hour or two. They packed each fish really well - double bagged, sturdy plastic, no corners, and individually. Probably saved the other three white clouds from ammonia by having them bagged individually. Would definitely order again

  • Comment: I asked to cancel part of the order and it was very quick response including the refund. The fish looked great, the gudgeon was making there presence known as soon as I opened the box. Good amount of scuds per pack. Definitely only need 1 is starting a culture, ordered 2 because of other places lame scuds amount. Always a great experience with Dan's Fish, except I need a Dan's Fish sticker for my buckets.

Let me tell you that I’ve ordered from dans fish a few times and rarely have issues because they overnighted them! And others I’ve purchased from that takes two days I have had bad issues with survival rate!! I will always purchase from dan’s!! Plus they have stuff that nobody else has!   • Comment: Only one DOA out of ten. Other 9 are doing well and ate dry flakes immediately after being acclimated into their new tank. Unique look, transparent with a gold/bronze iridescence patch on flanks and red on upper tail tip. Very active. I think they will become one of my favorites for nano tanks 10g to 20g in size.

All green algae eating shrimp came in alive and doing well so far. First time I am keeping them so look forward to see how they compare to my Amanos.

  • Comment: The Red Neon Blue Eye Rainbow fish and the Neocardinia Blue Dream shrimp arrived healthy and happy! There were even a couple of extra shrimp added in there! Score! They were packaged wonderfully with only one fish per bag and empty bags of water marked “temperature” so the fish bags wouldn’t slide around in transit. The only hiccup was that the UPS driver left the box in the sun rather than wait for a signature as I was late racing home from work. The temperature of the water was 87 (yikes!!!) by the time I got there, but it’s been 24 hours and all seems well. I’m crossing my fingers that the shrimp don’t molt prematurely because dramatic temperature change, but all in all I am a happy camper.
