Comment: After 2 straight doa nerite snails from another company. (They were lethargic and sick and died 3 days later)decided to give Dan's fish a try. Boy am i glad I did. Really impressed with my order, both snails arrived so healthy. Packaging was superb! I'm glad I found a place that really cares about their animals. They are already exploring their tank just a few hours after putting them in the tank. If your trying to decide weather to spend the few extra bucks I can say it's definitely worth it. Save yourself the extra unnecessary heartache and stress on the livestock and shop from a place that truly cares! A big thanks to Dan's fish and its staff.

Comment: All fish doing great, a month later. The original shipment got delayed by a day due to UPS shipping delay. Fish made it fine, each shipped in individual bags, really helped them on the journey. Dwarf rainbowfish had great coloration, and one of the males started flashing within a day or two. Very striking! Multi shelldwellers also doing great. Very happy with Dan's Fish, highly recommend!

Comment: I am simply beside myself at the impeccable packing of the animals!!!! Each Rummy Nose was packed in its own bag, with oxygen. I ordered 12, and they are all healthy and beautiful! I just finished acclimating and introduced them to my 90-Gallon, and they are doing beautifully. I have ordered from a number of different aquatic companies online. All I can say is I will never order from any other business than Dan's Fish!!! They really do care deeply about the transport and successful homing of the animals they sell!!!!

Comment: My 10 Celestial Pearl Danios arrived safe and healthy and are now happily swimming around my 45-gallon planted aquarium. Their blue-gray bodies are covered with beautiful pearl-like spots, and their bright orange-red fins make them absolutely stunning. Comment: My experience with Dans fish has been fantastic. I was excited to find they had these rummy nose rasboras in stock bc I really wanted them from a source I could trust. Their costumer service was great leading up and the fish arrived packaged in their individual little condo-baggies which really helped with observing and releasing with care. Everyone was alive, but had someone not made it, it would have been so much easier to deal with it. Also, I was nervous about the transit bc I live on the other side of the country, and UPS didn’t deliver them as early in the day as I would have liked, but they arrived safely, looked healthy, and a day later everyone is swimming around happily and already showing color, even though they are in a bare tank! Thank you!

Comment: I am very happy with Dan's Fish. I appreciate how he cares for his animals, and I trust that I will always receive a healthy order. I will never buy fish from a local store again, after having introduced disease to my tank that took weeks and lots of money and heartache to treat. I don't want to have to set-up and care for a quarantine tank. I trust the care he gives his fish so much that I feel safe just plopping them in my tank. I realize stress from shipping could trigger a problem, but so far Dan's Fish have been fat and sassy, just the way he likes them.

Ive checked out others and felt he has the fairest shipping prices for next day delivery. I. Found one just 100 miles from me with much higher shipping. The fish are packed in individual bags and have always been in perfect condition. I never worry about mixing the water they're in with my tank. You can't go wrong with Dans. Comment: This was my first time ordering from Dan's Fish, and I ordered 6 Pseudomugil gertrudae Aru IV. They are amazing! They arrived healthy (as far as I can tell) and active. Colored up almost as soon as they went into the tank. They even gave me an even ratio of males/females! They are beautiful, adorable fish, well done Dan! Thank you! :)

Comment: Very nice fish…all arrived healthy and active. A week late and all are still living and thriving. Great packaging! I loved how the fish were individually placed in separate bags. One flight was delayed but none seemed worse for wear. Would buy here again!

Comment: First time ordering from Dan’s Fish. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. My order consisted of 9 species and 56 total fish with zero DOA and zero losses after introducing them into their new environments. All fish were individually double bagged in high quality oxygen filled heat sealed bags. The danios, rasboras, Cory’s, tetras, apistos and loaches all arrived in perfect condition. The rainbow fish arrived with abrasions on their lips from darting into the side of the bag during transit (common for rainbows). All were added to a cycled aquarium are healing well with no treatment needed and zero secondary infections. The platinum halfbeaks arrived with a few of the fish having a few millimeters of their bottom beaks broken from darting into the side of the bag during transit. None of them seem to be showing any signs of distress because of it and all seem to be healing and feeding well with no treatment needed or secondary infections. As a whole I am pleased with the condition and quality of the fish I received from Dan’s Fish. All adapted and settled well to their respective tanks and are feeding and behaving as each individual species should. The piece of mind that I had ordering fish from Dan is worth every penny. Comment: In my first order from Dan’s Fish, I received 5 reticulated hillstream loaches, and wow, they are so much fun to watch! They arrived super healthy, all packed in their own individual bags. Today, they’re zooming around my tank like they’re the boss. They’re peaceful, but you might catch a couple of them sparring with each other as they attempt to guard their favorite eating spot. No worries, though—overall, they’re very peaceful and get along great with bottom feeders like my 7 corydoras and amano shrimp.

Comment: I absolutely love my Corydoras! I got seven of these little guys, and they’re such a blast to watch. When I first introduced them they moved up and down the glass exploring my tank. Once oriented, they began surfing the substrate much like a bunch of guys in a pie-eating contest. I was concerned when I first caught one or two of them resting along the bottom, but then I found out this is normal behavior. Before I decided to buy from Dan’s Fish, I did my research. I visited the local fish shops and noticed some fish that were clearly not doing well, some lying dead at the bottom of their tanks. Then, I checked out the online suppliers, read what other customers had to say, and watched several YouTube videos that gave me an idea of what to expect. For me, this wasn’t worth arguing over a dollar or two. I was looking for the best high-quality, healthy fish I could find, and I concluded Dan’s Fish best fit that bill. I wasn’t disappointed! As I opened the box they arrived in, I found each fish packed in their individual bag, and, most importantly, thriving. All of them are now in my tank. They're thriving, healthy, and I personally believe, happy!
