  • Comment: I purchased 5 electric blue acaras. They were shipped at 5pm in WY and arrived in southeastern PA by 10 am. When I opened the box, the heat pack was still warm and the bags of fish were also warm. All the fish were alive and well. The fish were packed individually in this double bags.   • Comment: Diamond tetras and golden white clouds arrived today in perfect condition and packaged very very well with heat packs and plenty of styrofoam to prevent jostling. No cloudy, dirty water or beat up fins. I particularly like how each fish was bagged separately. I’ll always buy from Dan from now on and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. Fishes are happily schooling around with their other Diamond tetra and golden white cloud buddies in a 75 gallon as I type.

  • Comment: Shipment was a full 24 hours late. Not your fault but still. Heat pads were cool to the touch. All fish arrived well packed and alive and look mostly healthy. Lack of colors shows some stress. The wild beta looks really good but the domestic females do not. One came in with some fin damage and the other looks like it's been through a war. There is literally pieces of her fins floating in the water. Hopefully they both recover with no issues. UPDATE: after 24+ hours, all fish are are alive and well. Domestic Betas are exploring and eating well. I think they are going to be fine.

Seller Reply: Hello KINGS, Thanks for the honest feedback. I'm so sorry to hear the bettas had a rough trip. I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what could have caused the fin trouble. Did we leave a snail shell in the bag that maybe knocked around during transit and damaged the fins? Please do reach out if they don't recover so we can take care of the situation.   • Comment: Another 100% live delivery. Two heat packs on the top lid were still kicking out heat, and the temperature inside the box was a perfect 79 degrees. Shrimp are quite active, and are doing their job, picking off spots of algae. They also come down at feeding time to share in in the wafers I feed to my hillstream loaches and corys. Several have moulted which is fairly common after shrimp are introduced into a new tank. All completed their moult without difficulty. All in all, I find nothing to be dissatisfied by. Good job employees of Dan's fish! If I could give an award for fantastic staff, I most certainly would.

These fish look healthier than anything I have received before, even from a LFS. They are very happy and are beautiful. Colored up with a beautiful shade of purple. These little guys are great! (Plus a bunch of longfin bronze Cories I got for my main tank, which are also thriving.) After experiences with unhealthy stock from my local store, using Dans Fish as my supplier is a dream. Worth every penny not to have to worry about illnesses or setting up a quarantine tank for my new arrivals. Thank you!

All 10 Cardinals arrived alive and good health.The way they are packaged and shipped (with heating pad) was pretty impressive. Would definitely order again from Dan's. Shipping was fast... shipped on 2/10/25 received on 2/11/25. Update: It has been 9 days since I got my Cardinals and all 10 are doing great!

Was surprise of the size of pumpkin snails as I thought they’d be the size of the nerite snails I got from you a while ago. But fish look awesome!!
