Comment: I just received 3 more reticulated Hillstream loaches (6 total from here!),and they are all very decent size,and extremely healthy!! I also just received my beautiful (!!!) Blue Phantom Pleco!! It is absolutely beautiful and also extremely healthy!!!! It is a beautiful shade of blue. This is the 2nd time I have ordered from Dan's and you can believe that I will definitely order again!!!! All of my fish are very healthy and I am so excited to add them to my tanks! Comment: As usual, every fish and shrimp arrived in excellent condition—alive and thriving a week later. However, I must note a slight difference in experience compared to other vendors. Typically, when ordering shrimp (neocaridina, in this case) from elsewhere, they often include a some extras due to the delicate nature of shrimp during shipping (aside from Amano shrimp; they are bullet proof; you don't need extras of those). With Dan's Fish, though I always receive precisely the amount I order. So, bear this in mind—if you order four cherry shrimp, you might receive exactly four, no more, no less. This isn't a criticism, especially considering that all the shrimp arrived alive. And even if there had been any issues, I know Dan's Fish would take care of me, so I can always place my orders with confidence. The primary reason I continue to order from Dan's fish is their commitment to ensuring that every fish they sell is healthy, vivacious and free from diseases and parasites. When purchasing fish, that is paramount to me and is definitely worth the price.

The packaging was good and all 7 fish came in separate bags. The bags were perfect size so the fish were always submerged. All the fish are healthy and already eating and very active. Comment: Fish (long finned dragon pleco) arrived extremely quickly, barely 12 hours after shipping. He was well packaged with good temperature control. Fish was healthy and strong and seems well fed. He immediately acclimated to the tank and began eating all the algae he can find. His color returned quickly and I have no worries about his health.

Comment: Dan: The fish arrived right on time with UPS. All fish arrived alive and ready to go! I appreciated the individual bag for each. They accumulated easily in my isolation tank. Comment: All my fish arrived safely and alive! Eight cherry shrimp and two black corys. Sadly, one the corys passed away two days after arrival. I saw the little fell laying on his back, motionless, several times and the next morning he was gone. After checking my water parameters and talking to the Dan's team it appears to have been due to stress. The Dan's team provided prompt responses, was very helpful and easy to work with, and they kindly reimbursed me for the loss of my fish. Once I'm ready for new additions, I'll definitely order from them again! No, they're not the cheapest, but I am happy to pay a premium for quality fish and excellent customer service.

Comment: I've made several orders over the past couple of months and all have been absolutely incredible! The fish are all super happy and healthy. I love how I can watch a video on YouTube and see exactly what quality of fish I am going to get. I've easily ordered over 50 fish recently and only had one dead on arrival. The packaging was fantastic and all of my shipments have been around 78 degrees inside of the insulation. I'm confident the one that didn't make it was no fault of Dan's but nonetheless, I was refunded immediately. The only negative thing I can say is that Dan's Fish makes things so easy that I buy way more fish than my wife would like!
