Overview:
These are on sale because they are growing and if they get much bigger, they will be more difficult to ship, so I'm trying to sell them at their current size.

These unique fish are high energy and very playful, like little puppies.

Collected by Hans-Georg Evers and Jeffrey Christian around Timika. According to Jeffrey, the largest ones observed at the collection site were around 7". One customer has reported his are about 7-8"

While several customers have kept these successfully in large community tanks with other assertive fish of an appropriate size, we've had one customer report of one individual fish killing/bullying tank mates.

Setup Considerations:
In the wild they come from streams and the deep pools under water falls, so they do enjoy a bit of flow.

Diet: Carnivore
Frozen/live foods are preferred, but they'll also take pellets. In the wild they mostly consume crustaceans and small fish.
