Overview:
This is the line which was famously designated "L173B" by Aquarium Glaser. It is much more widely available than the L173 line. The origins of the L173B fish are not completely understood, so the "B" line is kept separate from other L173 lines in order to avoid muddying the genetics. The "B" form of the L173 has less black/white contrast than the L173. However, it is still a very nice fish and a good option for someone who does not want to break the bank.
