Overview:
One of the prettiest native fishes. All pygmy sunfish are delightful clowns which are unlike any other group of fishes.

Males and females will look the same when they arrive. Males will develop black coloration with bright spangles once they settle in. Females will remain brown. At the moment, most of them are not colored up, so we cannot sex these.

Diet: Carnivore
These guys are going to need frozen and/or live foods, like blood worms and baby brine shrimp. Some will pick at prepared foods, so they can probably be weened onto them with time, but it will take patience.
