This batch came in HUGE!

These unique fish are high energy and very playful, like little puppies. While most have done well in communities, we've had a report of one being hyper-aggressive and killing/bullying any tank mates.

Collected by Hans-Georg Evers and Jeffrey Christian around Timika. According to Jeffrey, the largest ones observed at the collection site were around 7". One customer has reported his are about 7-8"

Setup Considerations:

In the wild they come from streams and the deep pools under water falls, so they do enjoy a bit of flow.

Diet: Carnivore

Frozen/live foods are preferred, but they'll also take pellets. In the wild they mostly consume crustaceans and small fish.
