Overview:
Due to its striking pattern, small size, and hardy nature, this pleco has been highly sought after since it first arrived in the Western fish trade in the 1990's. These are reputed to be more peaceful with each other than many hypancistrus species. They are highly recommended for someone who wants to try their hand at breeding Hypancistrus species for the first time.
